Dr. Baghai is committed to providing each patient with an exceptional level of compassionate surgical care and attention. She has had the privilege of serving the South Bay community since 2005. She completed her Doctorate of Medicine at University of California, San Francisco. She subsequently went to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN to complete her General Surgery Residency training and thereafter completed a two year subspecialty fellowship training in Advanced Minimally Invasive Gastrointestinal and Bariatric Surgery at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. She is an active member and contributor at several nationally recognized surgical societies and has numerous scientific publications in the areas of laparoscopic surgery and surgical training. 

Dr. Baghai's expertise and interest is in the area of advanced minimally invasive abdominal surgery which includes surgery for Gastrointestinal malignancies, Gastroesophageal Reflux disease, Colorectal disease, Complex Abdominal and Groin Hernias as well as all Bariatric (weight loss) surgical procedures. She also has special interest in incorporating new techniques and approaches into her minimally invasive practice such as 'single incision laparoscopy' and 'robotics'. 

Despite her surgical expertise and excellent outcomes, she and her staff are most proud of their commitment to providing kind and compassionate care to all their patients.  

We proudly admit our patients to both Torrance Memorial Medical Center and Providence Little Company of Mary Hospital- Torrance. Both hospitals are state of the art facilities which are ranked highly in Los Angeles County and South Bay area for their excellence in patient care. Our office is conveniently located near both facilities.
